About IITM PRAVARTAK

IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation is the Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) established at IIT Madras under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Focused on the SNACS domain (Sensing, Networking, Actuation, Control Systems), Pravartak bridges advanced academic research with real-world applications by nurturing startups, mentoring innovators, and collaborating with industry and government bodies. It plays a pivotal role in enabling deep tech innovations and driving the future of technology across sectors.

Located in the IIT Madras Research Park, Pravartak offers a thriving ecosystem of infrastructure, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration. It delivers a wide range of training programs in cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Embedded Systems—empowering students, professionals, and entrepreneurs to take their ideas from lab to market. About Digital Skills Academy

Digital Skills Academy (DSA), an initiative under IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation. It aims to reskill and upskill millions in emerging technologies—like Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud, RPA, Virtual Reality, and 3D Printing—through professionally designed, industry-aligned online training programs. The Academy particularly supports initiatives like “Career Back to Women” with optional campus immersion experiences.

Powered by collaborations with educational and industry partners, the DSA enables certificate programs structured around immediate employability. These include immersive hands-on learning, virtual labs, and mentorship to ensure participants become job-ready from day one. With thousands of enrollments and certified graduates across varied domains, the platform is a core component of India’s FutureSkills mission to train millions of professionals and students for the digital economy .
